About SMS

Founded in 1998, Suzala Mahila Samiti (SMS) is a registered non-governmental and non-profit organization based in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, dedicated to empowering women, children, youth, and vulnerable communities through education, healthcare, livelihood development, disaster risk reduction, environmental conservation, and human rights initiatives. Guided by the vision of building a just, inclusive, and self-reliant society, the organization works closely with communities and development partners to create sustainable social impact. Registration: Directorate of Women Affairs (DWA) Reg. No. 01/1998 (10 September 1998) and Department of Youth Development Reg. No. 142/2023 (12 December 2023).
